This day, on 28th of February 2022, we received the first shipment of “ELON”, the new EDOF IOL by Medicontur, in Greece and one of the very first in the world.
“ELON” is a non diffractive, refractive, Extended Depth Of Focus IOL, that uses Wavefront Linking Technology, offering continuous sharp vision from far to near distances for the patient, after cataract surgery.
“ELON” was delivered in Greece before its official launch – which is expected in the upcoming ESCRS – Milan, September 2022 – due to Drs’ Aristeidou Antonios (Euromedica Geniki Kliniki of Thessaloniki), Gerodimos Georgios, Metaxiotis Antonios and Papathomas Thomas (One Day Clinic “Orasi”, Trikala) participation in the global clinical trials for Medicontur!
